A consolidated user is a person that has user accounts in multiple systems, portals, and information databases. Users are assigned to subscriptions that entitles them to use the applications included in the subscription. Users have activity in applications.

User management

Users are added through the discovery sources that you connect to. In the user details view, on the tab Discovery sources, you can see all sources, such as SaaS connectors, where the user is discovered. For more information on user discovery, see SaaS discovery.

You cannot make changes to user details in the SaaS views, but you can mark users for different purposes. For more information, see Manage SaaS users.

For information on user cost optimization, see Optimize user costs.

User pages

The users pages show consolidated data for all discovered users in your SaaS estate, based on the discovery sources that you connect to. Consolidated data is presented in indicators, charts, and tables. There are multiple filtering options on the pages, as described in Filters.

For a SaaS glossary and definitions of user activity, see SaaS: Reference and User activity.
